NEW Immunization Requirements
New for the 2024-2025 school year, the immunization exclusion date for students has been moved from November to September. State law requires that all students have proper vaccinations or meet the alternative to the certification requirement, or they will not be allowed to enter or continue in school. Each student enrolled in Derby Public Schools must file documentation of his or her immunization status. This is done by filing a Kansas Certificate of Immunization (KCI) form signed by a physician or local Health Department official. This must be provided by Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
All incoming 7th graders will need the following immunizations
Tdap, Meningococcal, & Hepatitis A
- Is your child planning on playing sports? All immunization updates are required before the first day of practice
